Google testing new style of local home services ads

"Google is testing a new style of home service ads, one that doesn’t highlight potential businesses in the search results page, but uses a form instead. [...]

It has the option to submit a zip code and also features a drop down menu to select the type of job needing to be done."

Google ramps up EU lobbying as antitrust charges proceed

"The company's spending on European lobbying has increased from just €600,000 in 2011 to nearly €4 million ($4.3 million) last year. That's more than Apple, Facebook, Yahoo, Twitter and Uber combined, but less than the search giant's arch-rival, Microsoft."
