Welcome to a new issue of the Search Engine Facts newsletter.
This week we're featuring the Invisible Web and the latest Google acquisition.
1. ARELIS 4 - a major update
Some days ago, we released a major update to our popular tool ARELIS. A few hours after the release, we received this email:
"I've installed the software and upgraded to version 4. Fantastic! I've been trawling the web for weeks trying to find suitable sites to trade links with and your product has achieved more than I ever could in less than an hour. Unbelievable!"
So what is this all about? Read on to learn more about the exiting new ARELIS 4 and it's great new features.
What is ARELIS?
As a subscriber of this newsletter you probably know ARELIS. It's an award-winning tool to get targeted traffic and to improve your search engine rankings through reciprocal links. It's the de factor standard for professional link management.
Major search engines such as Google rank Web sites according to their overall link popularity factor. This link popularity factor is determined by the amount of inbound links that your site has.
Search engines consider sites with larger amounts of qualified inbound links as more important and therefore they assign them greater relevance for the search results.
The name ARELIS is short for "Axandra's Reciprocal Links Solution". Since February 2002, it was constantly improved by 16 no-cost-for-you-updates.
ARELIS automates most of the tedious and time-consuming tasks of exchanging and managing reciprocal links, for example it finds suitable link partners, creates link pages in the design of your Web site and checks if your link partners still link back to you.
ARELIS is now available in version 4. The new version contains more than 50 improvements, mostly based on customer suggestions:
- Find link partners more easily and with powerful options
Extensive filters can pre-screen potential link partners. They allow you to specify search engines, countries, domains and categories when finding new link partners.
- Evaluate potential link partners quickly and easily
ARELIS 4 now offers you Alexa.com traffic statistics and complete URL information from AllTheWeb.com, including access to their whois database. In addition, you can now easily check if a Web site has been indexed by the Yahoo directory.
- Create link page templates easily
Until now, we offered a link page template creation service for HTML beginners. Now even absolute beginners can create their own link pages that fully match the design of their Web sites. ARELIS guides you through five easy steps to create your link pages with more options than before.
- Customizable status texts
Many customers requested this feature, ARELIS 4 supports it: You can now assign every link partner an individual status text. You can add, rename and delete status texts as you want.
- Importing links and link partners
There are now five ways to import links and link partners, for example you can now import a list of URLs.
- Exchange ARELIS projects
You can now exchange or combine ARELIS projects between your home computer and your work computer, or between you and your co-workers. You can even exchange parts of your projects.
- Simplified user interface
The ARELIS 4 user interface has been redesigned to make it even easier to use.
If you tried ARELIS in the past and it didn't convince you, now it's time to try ARELIS again. It's vastly superior to manually searching and managing reciprocal links, saving you a lot of time and headache.
This is what another ARELIS user wrote us recently:
"I have found your software to be of the highest quality, easy to master and yet full of powerful features and best of all it has really helped me add a lot more links to my web site and for that I am very grateful."
So if you haven't done it yet, download your copy of ARELIS 4 now.
If you purchased ARELIS 1, 2.x or 3.x in the past, just download the new version and install it. As always, the new ARELIS version is free for registered users.
